Moans of pleasure mix with the sinister whickering of inner voices in this disturbing adult horror film from pioneering genre director Roberta Findlay. Mounting a comfortless, daylit erotics with its riskily ambivalent gender politics, A Woman’s Torment holds the Golden Age of Porn at knifepoint.
